Booking your riding time
Follow the steps below to book your time:

Download the App SPACES or click here

Open App and click on Athabasca Ag Society OR follow the instructions on the webpage

Click Book Now and select "Drop In - Indoor"

Select a time - There is NO time limit on how long you can stay unless there is a private booking. If there is a private booking those hours will not show up on the booking screen.

Choose your Riding Pass type - Payment will be done via credit card on the app for drop in. Riding passes will be linked with your account.

ARENA CODES - An email will be sent to you with the code for the arena. If you don't see it, check your junk folder.

After submitting your booking, please FILL OUT THE PASS FORM, FILL OUT A WAIVER FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS

"Drop-in" participants must still complete the waiver.
RIDING PASS FORM
Arena Instructions
For your first time to the Athabasca Ag Arena
-
Use the entrance past the main gate. Drive to the end of the chain link fence and turn left. Follow the road around to the south side of the building. Parking is by the big outdoor pen. Please access the arena only through the south door.

Use the code provided to open the door.

Enter the code. Email will be sent to you with the code after booking.

Light switch is on the right hand side when you walk in the door.

Please sign in the user book located on the table.

Feel free to use any equipment in the arena. Please put it away when you are done and be courteous to other users.

Clean up after your horse. The wheel barrow should be dumped after you're done. The pile is outside to the left.

Please turn off the lights and make sure the door is locked when you leave.

If the big wall fans are on you can turn them off while you ride, please turn them back on when you leave. The switch is in the corner at the far end left hand corner.

Arena Rules

Clean up all manure, both inside the arena and outside around trailers.

Please do not allow your horse to roll in the riding area.
-
No vehicles or trailers allowed in the arena, unless approved by the arena committee.

No smoking is permitted in the arena or within 5 meters of an entrance.
-
No alcohol is allowed in the arena.
-
No dogs are allowed in the arena.
-
No feeding horses in the arena.
-
No farrier work or similar activities are to be performed in the arena.

Please use courtesy and respect for others when riding. Follow common arena etiquette regarding direction, space, speed, etc.

Equipment use must be agreed upon by ALL present users (e.g., jumps, barrels) during Open Riding. All equipment MUST be put away after use.

Open Riding is for public riding only. No events, clinics, lessons, or group activities are to take place; please book a private rental slot.

Always ensure access to the building entrances for emergency vehicles.

Any abuse and/or excessive force towards animals are strictly prohibited.

The last occupant at the time is responsible for ensuring the manure cart is empty, all lights are off, overhead doors closed/chained, and man doors locked.

Users MUST make themselves aware of all emergency procedures and fire watch protocols. These are posted on the bulletin board beside the door when entering the arena.
